What’s it all about…Anyway?

Okay, let me get this straight. You wake up in the morning. Put in a days work. Come home. Eat. Go to bed. Repeat. What’s it all about…anyway?

I really don’t know what it’s all about, but just like you, I do the same thing. Oh, I may throw in a dinner out on the town or attend one of my kids sporting events, but it’s basically the same thing.

It’s called LIFE.

If you think getting that dream career will change this fact, it won’t. Some people make the mistake thinking that when they find that dream career everything will be great in their life. Wrong.

It will certainly help your life if you find something you really want to do in your career, no doubt, but guess what? If you’re a miserable person, you will still be a miserable person after you find that dream career. Sorry.

I know people that are so sour about life that if they won the lottery for $300 million dollars they would still be a sour and miserable person. They would complain that they have to pay taxes on the money or complain that it wasn’t enough money, etc. Why is this? Why are some people happy all of the time and some people are miserable all of the time?

My experience with these miserable types of individuals is they don’t live life. They complain all the time. It’s always someone else fault about everything that goes badly in their life. They are always blaming others and they always feel cheated. Someone is always out to get them.

Are you doing this? Are you a negative person? Do you blame others for your failings? Is it always someone else’s fault? Are you always getting the “short end of the stick?” If you’re doing this you need to stop doing it. Quit feeling sorry for yourself! It’s called life.

You don’t get into that dream career and then all of the sudden you become this fantastic person. You get that dream career because you are a fantastic person. Get it?

People don’t like to be around negative, sour, and miserable people that complain about everything. You can’t be one type of person and another type of employee. It’s impossible. If you’re the lying and cheating type of person that’s the type of employee you will be. Period.

You must change the way you view your life. You must change your habits. You must change your friends. You must quit blaming others for your failings. You must change your attitude. You must start living and enjoying life. What you do on a daily basis isn’t anything different than what anyone else does. Stop complaining and start living. Stop wasting your talent. What’s it all about…anyway? It’s called life. Enjoy it while you have it! I hope this helps.

Good luck to you!
